Curious about everything and afraid of nothing, Ada grows up dreaming of a life full of possibilities, where she can become “everything-all-at-once” and explore every path. But one morning, as thunder rumbles, a little trouble appears. A tiny seed takes root in her hands and leads Ada down an unexpected and unsettling road, where she must confront the fear of becoming frozen—like a twisted, motionless tree.
Blending storytelling and puppetry, *Before Becoming a Tree* explores, with poetry, humor, and a touch of absurdity, a child’s journey through illness and her quest to escape stillness.
