DESCRIPTION

Macbeth, a loyal soldier to his nation, meets three witches on the battlefield who predict he will become king. Following this revelation, Macbeth and Lady Macbeth choose the bloody path of ambition, betrayal, and power. Inspired by silent films, flirting with grand guignol and melodrama, this wordless adaptation of Macbeth humorously propels us into a frenzied race for power.
In a frantic and bloody retelling of the cursed couple’s downfall, Macbeth Muet deconstructs Shakespeare’s work with visceral theatre. Bodies, objects, and fake blood intertwine in a world devoid of morality, where human lives prove as fleeting as disposable cups. Driven by an intense and gripping soundtrack, the actor-puppeteers deliver a dizzying choreography, transforming the play into a captivating sensory experience.
