DESCRIPTION:DESCRIPTION\n\n\nInspired by the burlesque acting of silent films\, this bold\, brutal and bloody performance takes us on a wordless journey through the ruthless pursuit of power with humour and melodramatic gestures. \nA new vision of the criminal spouses in a sped-up version completely unravels Shakespeare’s tragedy. The combination of bodies\, objects and stage blood is dominated by a social and emotional poignancy that depicts the futility of human life in a world without morals. Exploring the theme of illness\, the show takes a poetic approach to childhood resilience\, through playful tableaux combining image theatre and object theatre. In our delivery truck transformed into a space that could be a workshop or even a hospital room\, the spectator follows ADA across a range of emotions – from the announcement of her diagnosis to its acceptance. \n\n\n\n\nActors: Marie-Hélène Bélanger Dumas and Simon-Pierre Lambert
